Information for potential therapy clients

I offer weekly intensive psychotherapy for individuals seeking depth rather than brief, review-based care. These structured 50-minute sessions prioritise sustained psychological work over time.

My approach is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and the Conversational Model of psychotherapy, with a strong trauma-informed framework. I have commenced a Master of Medicine (Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy) to further deepen this work and have completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems Therapy.

Weekly therapy allows us to move beyond symptom management into careful exploration of relational patterns, emotional experience, identity, and the development of a more integrated and compassionate sense of self.

This model is best suited to individuals who are motivated for consistent, reflective work and who are seeking meaningful, durable change rather than episodic consultation.

New patients start with a three session assessment before commencing work. I work with both adults and young people.

Ideally, the appointment is at the same time every week and the patient and therapist commit to keeping this space available for this important work.

I am currently working via telehealth, which improves access and I see patients from around Australia. Patients can access Medicare Rebates and utilise the Medicare Safety Net for every session as long as they have an active referral (for a psychiatrist, not a Mental Health Care Plan for a psychologist) from a GP. Once you have reached the safety net, the average gap per session is approximately $60.
